Everyone has a story about that one favorite teacher who took an interest in them, or encouraged them to pursue a subject.
I've always been very much impressed by Ms Pearl Jindal. Honestly speaking, Whenever I think of French, she is the one who automatically comes in mind. Though, I didn't pursue my career in French, however, it was fun and my hobby too.
She helped me to shape-up my French grammar, spoken French, public speaking.
You are the best teacher ever! 😊

Learning French as second language has been a great experience for me. Being a student of literature, I stepped into learning French out of curiosity. Four years down the line, I possess an Advanced Diploma in French from University of Delhi with first division and I hold A2 level certificate from Alliance Française. I can't thank enough my first teacher of French, Ms. Pearl Jindal who germinated this seed. She created strong base in grammar and spoken which made me learn the language further. I feel that it is very important to have a good teacher to like a subject especially when it's a language. Recently i got an offer from G.D Goenka, Delhi to teach French. I am thankful to her for making me learn and fall in love with something that I never thought I am capable of doing. -- Komal Chaudhary.

I have undergone two year regular diploma from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan (New Delhi) in 2007-08. Ms. Pear Jindal was my teacher in the second semester. After the fourth (final) semester I scored highest marks in the viva and the entire credit for that goes to Ms. Jindal. She always insisted on speaking in French (not just learning to read and write) and encouraged it. She is a very dedicated teacher who takes her job very seriously and maintains good discipline in the class as well. It was a privilege to be her student. -- Sanjay Singh

Learning French language was no fun until I came across this wonderful prof Ms. Pearl. I used to be sleepy during the early morning classes and was not developing any interest in French language until I met her. Finally when I decided to quit without wasting my time and money on this language she came as an inspiration. She teaches beyond the line and it was because of her that I started liking this language. I admire her for her liveliness and her innovative style of teaching. She has always motivated her students and is always available for them. She is always full of energy and very passionate towards her profession. This is what inspired me so much and today I am following her footsteps and working as a French teacher in a reputed school in Delhi. --Disha Vij

Pearl mam was my first professor when I started learning french at Alliance, Gurgaon. I still remember that very first day when she came in the class..so lively n smiling n introduced herself in french!! She then asked each one of us to do the same n we all were literally nervous but then it was her who made it seem like a piece of cake!! Her connect with the class was spot on! She always made the sessions enjoyable by including games, songs, quizzes, presentations, etc related to the language but never boring. Today I can truly say that she became my inspiration to pursue my career in french. I am really glad to have her as my mentor!--Prigu Garg

Ms. Pearl Jindal is a truly gifted teacher. She’s doesn’t just have a bunch of credentials, she actuallyknows what she is doing! She is organized, respectful and interesting. She was my first French language teacher in BVB when I started studying French. She always was fair. Gave a tremendous amount of homework, frequent quizzes, and returned the results within 2-3 days. She was always so clear in her explanations and I could always understand what she was trying to get at. She always came into the classroom with a positive attitude. Her time was always available for students.--Suchreet Kaur

An incredible lady whose academic credentials speak for herself, Ms. Pearl Jindal’s dedication, devotion and her constructive approach to teaching is what that has made my experience of being her student a highly enriching & memorable one…

As a student, I have immensely benefited from my teacher for the reservoir of knowledge & experience she is. In terms of knowledge-building, literature, the grammatical aspects & most importantly learning a foreign language in all its aspects- writing, speaking, listening and reading, Ms Jindal has always ensured that her students get the maximum output even in situation where resources are limited. For instance- She goes out of her way to provide her students with as many tools & techniques as possible that aid in learning of foreign languages. I remember how persevering she was when it came to making the language lab accessible to students in an institute where Ms. Jindal was a faculty member.

Her natural flair for teaching is apparent when she constantly invents more creative techniques in order to realise her aim of effective teaching. She has always looked beyond the traditional classroom teaching & experimented with – role playing, singing songs, improvisations, dramatizing situations, brainstorming movie screenings, learning with illustrations. Classroom interactions have always been an indispensable part of her teaching. She’s all for mutual learning as well, that is, letting students help each other in understanding our lessons. I really admire her idea of holistic approach with her painstakingly organizing numerous visits to the prestigious institutes, organizations, libraries, thus providing the students with opportunity to get more exposure pertaining to academic pursuits of a foreign language.

Last but not the least, Ms. Jindal always ensures that she makes her classroom environment warm and friendly enough to foster effective learning. She is very caring and generous in terms of her time, energy and wisdom.I am privileged to have such a teacher who is an institution in herself and who strives against the various obstacles only to ensure that her students get the best. Along the way, her infectious enthusiasm, passion and love for teaching French have always encouraged me and many students to constantly push our limits to explore ourselves.I’m indeed a very proud student of my dear ma’am.

The very first thing I remember about learning from Pearl ma'am was day 1. She walked in speaking french! None of understood the words she spoke, but the sheer energy she had left us wanting to learn more. Pearl ma'am is someone who will always motivate you. Language learning is a daunting task, but she will constantly remind you that you will be able to speak complete french sentences by the end of A1/A2. As for her own skill in the language, I might not be a french speaker myself but it's easy to tell that she's extremely proficient at the language.
Unfortunately I had to move out of the city due to work and could not continue the classes with her after three months. Currently I live in a Chinese speaking country and I'm learning Chinese. And if someone were to ask me what kind of a teacher I would like now, the answer is easy: Pearl ma'am.--Abhishek Nanda

To begin with your explanations are simple and short which helps us to understand the lessons in 1st and 2nd years of Masters in French , but you don't stick only to the book you go much beyond the book, You are one teacher who gives more input than the textbook learning, all the current updates of events are discussed in the class which gives the students more knowledge about the language, the country and its culture In addition you have encouraged us to explore more and to find more opportunities. Your inspiration has helped me a lot, to take extra effort in the learning process and to develop myself.Thank you for guiding me through. --   Rachel Varghese

As a student many teachers will pass through our life but a special few will leave a lasting impression. Ms.Jindal taught me during my stays in India, 2013. Obviously, she taught me with great passion and i've improved my french skill a lot. It was my childhood passion to learn French and my husband gave feathers to my passion, when he encouraged me to take classes at an age after I was blessed with my kids. I still remember that day like the back of my hand, when I went to my first French class. I was very nervous, since I was aware of the fact that I would be the eldest in the class. To my awe as the class started, a smiling beautiful girl entered the class and introduced herself as our French teacher. She too was younger than me. Miss Pearl Jindal, my French teacher was such a sweet person that as the class proceeded I became more at ease and found myself very comfortable with her and the class. The first semester proved to be a blessing with her on my side, she became not only a teacher, a mentor but a very good friend who offered me help whenever I needed it. In later years also, she proved to be a strong support and guided and encouraged me for further studies in French. To this date, she is a wonderful friend whom I know, I can look upon anytime.I wish her a very good luck for a bright and prosperous future.--- Shabli Rastogi

Besides this she is a very good and kind hearted person. "I never knew learning a language could be so refreshing until I attended Pearl Ma'am's French classes. She taught us the language in Hansraj College, University of Delhi. After everyday's monotone of usual long lectures in college, french classes were much waited for. Innovative Teaching is one of the most sparkling characteristics of Pearl Ma'am which I admire. If she wouldn't have made French so much more interesting, I wouldn't have continued till level B1 from Alliance Francaise. I am greatly thankful to her"-Yamini Agarwal

Salut/Hello, with great pleasure, I would like to recommend Pearl for French teaching. She did teach me for two semesters at BVB, New Delhi. Her enthusiasm about teaching came through her great attitude and passion for this language. Curiosity for how students learn best was always a focus, as to best reach the different learning styles in the classroom. Moreover, to get the first-hand experienced of the language, culture and French cuisines, we were frequently taken for seminars and intercultural activities organised by the French embassy and Alliance française under supervision of Pearl.I am immensely proud of her as my teacher and strongly recommend her to beginners as well as advance learners, who wish to further improve their language knowledge. I'm confident that it would be enriching experience for them.Mielleures salutation/with Best Regards,Raghavenda Singh (2008-09 Batch, BVB, Delhi)--Raghavendra Singh

I joined the course in 2012. I had to attend 2 hour classes everyday in the summer break. Still, It didn't feel rigorous at all. It wasn't anything like school teaching. Ma'am indulged us in various activities and showed us French movies and cartoons. I feel great that I joined this course. It left me with plenty of good memories. I had so much of fun. And above all, I learnt so much. Rather than just cramming up French words or learning to write it (which happens in most of the schools and tuitions), the course focused on listening, interpreting and speaking French fluently too. It made me fall in love with French. Ma'am made us read comics, gave us situations where we had to converse in French and made us listen to French songs. 2 years after the course, I went for the French exchange program, and I was the one doing the translations from everyone most of the time (although we all were learning French). You'll never regret learning from her. You'll never think of it as a waste of time. The things that you learn will be there with you for the rest of you life. And you'll enjoy it a lot.-Kshitiz Agarwal

I certainly feel it is a blessing in disguise to have Pearl as your French teacher. She is a flawless speaker and have a strong command over the language. When I joined French classes at Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, initially I was apprehensive whether I have taken a right decision of joining the classes or not. But, when I started attending the classes, I found that Pearl is a very fine teacher and has lot more to offer as French Teacher. She not only helped me to overcome my reserve attitude towards the language but also infused confidence in me and encouraged me to speak French more oftenly. Apart from a good French teacher she is a good Human being as well. I wish her all the best in her future endeavours. Anyone who wants to learn French must contact Pearl. Elle est une tres bon enseignante.-Rohit Kaul

it has really been a nice experience learning from you as you made us do all the activities and practical stuff in french itself....with you french was more than just the textbook where you taught us that we need to be confident in speaking french and not just be trapped in books--Sushobha Sanyal

Pearl ma'am taught me for 2 consecutive levels at I would give her all the credit for giving me strong basics. The classes were very interactive and exciting with her, she made me want to learn more. I really appreciate the fact that she came well prepared for the class and took extra pains in doing stuff that was not a part of the curriculum.-Namita Sharma
